Contact UsAthletic Mouthguards
Whether you’re participating in sports yourself or you’re signing your little leaguer up for their first team, mouthguards are vital! Studies have shown that dental trauma is one of the most common sports-related injuries, so it’s important to protect your smile while you’re having fun. We create custom-fitted, thick mouthguards to act as a barrier between the teeth and jaw and any outside factors. Our mouthguards are designed to absorb impact and cushion the teeth and gums to prevent any serious damage.
Nightguards for Teeth Grinding
If you or a family member is suffering from nighttime teeth grinding, we recommend getting fitted for a custom nightguard as soon as possible. Over time, teeth grinding can cause teeth to crack, chip, and break. It also wears down the teeth to where they appear smaller and it can negatively affect your jawbone health. Our nightguards are worn on the upper and lower arch of teeth while patients sleep. They have sturdy, extra-thick bases to absorb the impact from teeth grinding.
Sleep Apnea Appliances
Do you have diagnosed obstructive sleep apnea and your CPAP machine is getting dusty on your bedside table? You may be a great candidate for a sleep apnea appliance. Our oral appliances reposition your jaw to keep your airway open while you sleep. Many patients feel that it is more comfortable than the CPAP machine, which helps them feel more relaxed while they sleep. If you have sleep apnea and think you’re a good candidate for an oral appliance, please contact us to schedule a consultation!
TMJ/TMD Therapy
Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) happens when the temporomandibular joints are damaged or malfunctioning. Wondering if you have TMD? There are many signs and symptoms that may indicate this disorder: aching around the ears, chronic/frequent headaches, difficulty chewing, teeth grinding, facial pain, and lockjaw. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you may need TMJ/TMD therapy. We can create a personalized oral appliance to help relieve any pressure on your joints and alleviate your symptoms.
